2009-10: Edie posted averages of 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in an injury-shortened freshman campaign...Scored four points in 12 minutes of playing time in her Lady Bear debut, a 79-55 loss to Georgetown (Nov. 14)...Posted a career-best 20-point effort to lead all MSU scorers in an 88-73 win over Tulsa (Dec. 8); registered career highs for points, rebounds (6), field goals made (6), free throws made (5), 3-pointers (3) and minutes played (25) vs. TU en route to earning MVC Newcomer of the Week honors (Dec. 14)...Missed one game after sustaining a fractured third metatarsal in her left foot on Dec. 22...Matched a career high by pulling down six rebounds vs. Illinois State (Jan. 18)...Scored nine points in just 16 minutes of playing time in MSU's loss to Wichita State (Jan. 23)...Led MSU with three steals and a career-best two assists at Indiana State (Feb. 12)...Missed the last nine games of the season after fracturing her right wrist on Feb. 21.

Background: The 6-1 guard totaled 2,792 points for Exeter High to finish her high school career as the No. 9 scorer in Missouri girls high school basketball history...Guided Exeter to a 93-19 record and was a four-time Ozark 7 Conference Player of the Year, all-district and all-state performer during her prep career...Led the Lady Tigers to a 30-1 record and the Missouri Class 1 title as a senior in 2008-09, averaging 26.0 points and 12.8 rebounds...Tabbed Class 1 all-state by the AP for the fourth straight year and picked up first-team MBCA all-state honors for the second year in a row...Was the leading vote-getter for the Springfield News-Leader's All-Ozarks squad and earned her fourth all-area selection from the Joplin Globe in 2008-09...Scored a game-high 25 points to go along with seven boards, six steals and three blocks in Exeter's 56-31 victory over Marion County in the state championship game...Averaged over 26 points and 12 boards per outing in helping Exeter to its first-ever district title as a junior in 2007-08...Scored in double digits in all but one game of her high school career, topping the 20-point mark in 108 of 112 contests...Competed in softball and volleyball at Exeter as well, earning all-district honors in the latter.
