A team captain in her first season in the program last year, Tiffany Coppage returns for her senior year as one of the Lady Bears' top long range shooting threats.


Coppage contributed 4.3 points per game in her first year in the Missouri State program, starting each of the last seven games of the season and nine contests overall...Was MSU's third-leading scorer with five points in the Lady Bears' loss at Texas (11/11)...Went 3-of-5 from three-point range in the first half of an eventual 63-59 loss to UTSA (11/29), sparking a 13-2 MSU run...Ignited a 34-13 scoring run by scoring 11 points off the Lady Bears' bench in a 72-61 win over Tulsa (12/4)...Made her first career start as a Lady Bear in a 69-51 loss to Saint Louis (12/7), scoring three points and grabbing three boards...Scored nine points off the bench on 3-of-7 shooting from three-point range at Oral Roberts (12/15)...Came off the bench to knock down two three-pointers in MSU's 73-69 loss at Wichita State (2/2)...Buried three three-point attempts in the second half of the Lady Bears' 78-58 win at Southern Illinois (2/8) to finish with 11 points...Scored five points and recorded a career-high three steals in a 73-66 win over Bradley (2/14)...Hit 5-of-10 three-point attempts, including four in the first half, to tally a career-high 15 points to help lead MSU to a 73-56 victory over UNI (Feb. 16)...Knocked down four three-pointers to total 14 points in an 86-77 overtime loss at Indiana State (2/21); posted career highs in minutes played (38), field goal attempts (18), rebounds (9) and assists (2) in the loss...Went 3-of-4 from three-point range in the first half of MSU's 79-73 win over Creighton (3/8) to help the Lady Bears build a 12-point halftime lead and ultimately wrap up a fifth-place MVC finish.


Coppage became the first player to commit to new MSU head coach Nyla Milleson last April...In two seasons at Fort Scott, Coppage averaged 12.4 points in 62 games and led the Lady Greyhounds in three-point field goals made with 146...Connected on 79-of-230 from beyond the arc and averaged 12.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest in 2006-07 to help Fort Scott to a 22-10 mark, the best single-season finish in school history...Was a second-team All-Jayhawk Conference pick in 2006-07...Came to Fort Scott after leading Kansas City's Lincoln Prep Academy to a 26-5 record and the Missouri Class 4 title game as a senior in 2005...Averaged 15.3 points per contest while shooting at a 52 percent clip from three-point range.


Coppage is the daughter of Delmar Coppage and Cecilia Peterson...Has one sister, Jennifer Pegues...Cousin of Morris Peterson of the NBA's New Orleans Hornets...Will turn 22 during the season...Expects to graduate in May of 2009 with her bachelor's degree.
