Parker Named to Academic All-District Team
Missouri State senior goalkeeper Lance Parker has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 7 men’s soccer first team. Parker, who owns a 3.67 grade point average as a general business major, was selected as the Brine/MVC Defensive Player of the Week in October. Parker has appeared in 35 games at MSU, playing just under 3400 minutes and owns a lifetime goals against average of .96. The Oklahoma City, Okla. native will now be eligible for inclusion on the Academic All-American ballot. The award is voted upon by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.
