Bears Travel to Oral Roberts for Second Road Match of the Season

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Missouri State men's soccer team (4-1-1) will be facing Oral Roberts (1-4-1) on Wednesday evening at Case Soccer Complex in Tulsa, Okla. at 6:00 p.m.
The Bears have logged heavy minutes as of late. Missouri State has been on the field a total of 511 minutes and 22 seconds and broke the team record by playing in five consecutive regular season overtime games.
Despite playing well into extra time, the Bears have shown the ability to not break down late in games. Missouri State recorded a 3-1-1 record over that stretch, while not losing at home.
Missouri State is set to play two games this week, including away from Plaster Field for only the second time this season. The Bears travel to Tulsa to play Oral Roberts in the first leg of a home and home which will conclude in Springfield on October, 15th. This will be an opportunity for the Bears to even their road record at 1-1.
Oral Roberts recorded their first win of the season last Friday, defeating Rogers State 2-1. This follows a tie in the previous game against Mid-America Christian.
The Golden Eagles are led by first year head coach Ryan Bush, who joined the men's staff after five years as the head coach of the ORU women's team.
Missouri State holds an impressive 13-3-2 all-time series record against Oral Roberts, including a three-game winning streak.
