During Kingery's senior year, the five-year letterman helped guide the Yellow Jackets to an impressive 14-3 record and their first-ever Mississippi Class 5A state title with a win over Pascagoula. Following the season, he was received the Columbus Dispatch Boys Soccer Player of the Year award. Prior to his senior year, Kingery was invited to try out for the U-17/U-18 Birmingham United Soccer Association U.S. Development Academy team and earned a spot on the team. Prior to his stint with BUSA, the talented midfielder played club with the Central Jackson Soccer Organization. As a junior at Starkville, Kingery and the Yellow Jackets were crowned co-champions of their district.
Associate Head Coach Michael Seabolt on Kingery:
"Kase is a good technical player that is also athletic. We feel he can come in and compete for time in the back or midfield. He has the potential to develop into a key player down the road and we expect him to be an integral part of a very strong recruiting class for 2012."
