Background: Eric Wimberley joins high school teammate Ryan Hennessy as newcomers to the Bears in 2006. He set the school record for career goals, with 86, including 34 as a senior. Wimberley earned all-state, all-conference, all-district, all-metro and all-western region honors in 2005, and was voted the team's MVP. As a junior, he scored 23 goals and passed out 10 assists. He was team co-captain with Hennessy as a senior and was the offensive player of the year in his sophomore, junior and senior campaigns. He also teamed up with Hennessy to help lead the K.C. Pace to the 2005 Missouri State Championship and the 2004 semifinals.

Personal: Eric Michael Wimberley is the son of Rick and Jeanna Wimberley. He was born Sept. 13, 1987, in Gladstone, Mo.
