At MSU: 2005: Williams saw action in all 18 matches, with his most impressive outing coming against Evansville (10/19), when he recored a three-assist game, tying a school record for assists in a game. He also added an assist on the game-winning goal against IPFW (9/17) in a 6-0 MSU victory. Williams launched 11 shots on the season, including three that were on goal. His four assists were tied for third-best on the team in 2005. 2004: The St. Louis, Mo., native saw limited playing time behind all-conference seniors in the midfield as a freshman. Williams played in seven games last season and did not take a shot. Background: Williams rejoined high school teammates Kai Harris and Andy Cooper at MSU. Williams was a four-year starter for the Oakville Tigers and was a first team all-conference and second-team all-state selection his senior year, while receiving second team all-conference honors as a junior. Williams helped lead his team to the district championship during his sophomore and junior seasons, as well as making the state finals his sophomore season.
