2012: Appeared in all but one of the Bears' 17 matches in 2012...Was inserted into the starting lineup on seven different occasions...Made his first collegiate start against Dartmouth in the TLC Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Lobo Invitational ...Tied for second on the team in goals (2) and third in points (4)...Helped MSU improve to 3-0-1 by recording his first collegiate goal in the Bears' 1-0 shutout victory over Lipscomb...Scored his second goal of the season on a header from the left wing in Missouri State's 2-2 draw with No. 26 UC Irvine...Finished the year with six shots and three shots on goal...Named to the 11-member MVC All-Freshman squad.
Background: Coached by youth development officer Tony Daws while playing forward for Scunthorpe United F.C....In final season with the Scunthorpe United U-18's Thomas scored 10 goals in 14 games played...Was also named vice captain in his final year...During his junior year, he punched in another six goals in 11 matches...He combined for 27 goals as a freshman and sophomore, playing for the Scunthorpe United U-15, U-16 and U-18 teams...Outside of soccer, he participated in cricket and basketball.
