At MSU: Omar Shoucair will look to provide an offensive spark as a senior in his second year in the program. 2006: Shoucair scored his only goal of the season in a 2-1 double overtime loss to Fairleigh Dickinson at the Creighton Tournament (9/1). The goal came in the 62nd minute to force overtime. He played in 15 matches off the bench and ended the season with eight shots. In this spring's exhibition match against the Kansas City Wizards of Major League Soccer, Shoucair scored the Bears' goal in a 2-1 loss. Background: Shoucair came to Missouri State from East Central College in Union, Mo. As a two-year starter for the Rebels, Shoucair scored nine goals and added 10 assists in his career at East Central College. In 2005, he led the Rebels to only the school's second Midwest Community College Athletic Conference championship in 20 years, as the team finished with a 16-5 record. At Douglas High in Parkland, Fla., he was a two-year starter. He also has international experience, as he has played with the Jamaica Under-23 team and was a pool player for the Under-20 and Under-17 teams. He was selected to play against the Manchester United, Everton and Liverpool youth teams. Personal: Omar George Shoucair is the son of Omar and Donna Shoucair. He was born Sept. 19, 1984, in Lauderhill, Fla.
