Becker, Karlsen, Duckworth, Scott and Beaty earn prestigious MVC President’s Council Award

2015: Started in all 17 games for the Bears… Totaled over 1648 minutes in net, allowing 21 goals, registering 35 saves, posting seven shutouts, and earning a goals against average of 1.15 (4th in the MVC)… Helped prevent the Bears from losing during their two trips to overtime and five trips to double overtime.

Competed for playing time in his first season on campus ... Started two games and appeared in one more for the Bears ... Totaled over 219 minutes in net, allowing just two goals, making three saves, and earning a goals against average of 0.53 ... Finished with a record of 1-0-1, earning the shutout victory against Incarnate Word (Aug. 29) and playing in all 110 minutes of the double-overtime 2-2 draw against UMKC.

Background: Tottenham Hotspur academy goalie Liam Priestley has signed to join the Missouri State soccer team in Fall of 2014. The keeper will join a Bears side which already consists of 8 English players.
