At Missouri State: Hoffman has become a crucial piece to the Bears' offense and looks to make the offense more potent this season.
2010: Hoffman is one of the most dynamic players in the Bears midfield. He earned his third letter during the 2010 season by starting in 17 of the teams 18 games. Hoffman was amongst the team leaders in goals, shots, and shots on goal. He tallied two goals on the season, the first coming against IUPUI (9/12) and the second against conference opponent Evansville (10/20). For his work on the field, Hoffman was an honorable mention to the All-MVC Team at the team of the season.
2009: Hoffman became a second-year letterwinner after playing in 18 matches, getting the starting nod against Oral Roberts (10/14). He scored the Bears' goal in the 1-0 win at No. 6 Creighton (9/19). He registered a goal and a game-winning assist as MSU defeated SMU 3-1 on Sept. 27. He scored the game-winning goal against Evansville (11/4) to clinch the MVC regular season title for the Bears. Hoffman assisted on the game-winning goal against Oral Roberts (10/14) and on Heath Melugin's goal in the NCAA Tournament first round match at Saint Louis (11/19).
2008: In his first season on campus, Hoffman started two games for the Missouri State camp of forwards while providing depth to the Bears' attack in all 22 contests in 2008. He tallied 10 shots on the season with two attempts in each contest against Memphis (9/24) and UMKC (10/28).
Background: Hoffman led the Parkway Central Colts and the Suburban South Conference in goals scored with 27, securing the second-most goals scored in school history. He also led the St. Louis area with 11 game-winning goals in 2007. Hoffman was named Suburban South first team and St. Louis all-metro and all-state second squads as his team was crowned conference champions.
