At MSU: Trey Davis joined the Bears' squad at midterm and participated in spring soccer, after transferring from Barton County Community College, where he played last fall.

Background: Davis started his collegiate career at York College in York, Neb., before transferring to Barton County C.C. after a year. In his final season at Barton in 2004, Davis earned NJCAA second team All-America honors and was the Region VI Player of the Year.

Personal: Trey Michael Davis is the son of Kerry and Beth Davis. He was born Dec. 12, 1984, in Newton, Kan.
