Men's Golf Team Tied for Seventh at USF Invitational
 

 

 

Missouri State men's golf completed the first day of competition at the USF Invitational in St. Petersburg, Fla. After the first 18 holes, the Bears have shot 291, or three over par, to tie for seventh with Louisville.

The scores have been very competitive in the par 72, 7,060 yard course. Middle Tennessee State is currently in first with a team score of 274, or 14 under par. Four golfers are tied atop the individual leaderboard with scores of 67, five under.

Leading the way for the Bears is Daily Young, who shot 71 on the day to tie for 16th. Nick Langley shot par (72) to tie for 21st. Rounding out the Bears top five are Jordan McLaurin (73, T31st overall), Jack Courington (75, T47th overall) and Will Hogan (76, T64th).

The action will pick back up tomorrow, Mar. 5 at 8 a.m. with the second round of play.
