Bears set for season-opening 15-team tournament at SIUE

2014-15 (Fall): One of two Bears to compete in all 11 tournaments ... Fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference with a 74.25 scoring average to also lead the team in 28 rounds ... Best finish in the fall was a tie for eighth at the UMKC Bill Ross Invitational on Oct. 13-14 ... Shot 74-76--150 to lead the Bears in the weather-shortened event ... Best round of the fall came at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate on Oct. 20, a 1-under-par 71 ... Finished that event tied for 20th at 5-over 221 ... Posted a career-best 2-under 70 in the final round of the ORU Shootout to tie for second overall at 2-over 146 ... Recorded four under-par rounds and three even-par rounds on the season ... Finished 12th in the MVC championship at 8-over-par 224 on his way to being named all-MVC for the second time in his career.

Tied for 23rd the next week at UMKC with 74-77-73--224, which also led MSU ... Shot 75-82-76--233 for 53rd at Louisiana Tech ... Scored 72-73-76--221 at the Snowman Getaway ... Led MSU with 80-74--154 and a 36th-place finish at the weather shortened Argent Financial Classic ... Earn three consecutive ninth-place tournament finishes at the UALR/First Tee Intercollegiate (77-69-78--224), Memphis Intercollegiate (77-74-70--221), and TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate (73-71-75--219) ... 2012-13: After an outstanding collegiate season, continued his roll in the summer of 2013 by capturing the Missouri Amateur title in suburban Kansas City by winning five matches in three days ... Enjoyed a tremendous freshman year, earning Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer of the Year and all-conference honors after leading the team in scoring with a 74.39 mark ... Paced the Bears in seven consecutive tournaments and ended the season with three straight top-10 finishes, including seventh at the MVC Championship, where he shot 74-77-70 ... Was remarkably consistent, finishing inside the top 15 at eight of the team's 11 tournaments ... Quarterfinalist at the Missouri Junior Match Play in 2010 and 2011, while finishing second and fourth, respectively, at the 2010 and '11 Missouri Junior Amateur...Also placed fifth at the AJGA Bass Pro/Payne Stewart Junior Championship in 2011.
