Fall 2007: Damaso Carrera competed in all four events with his highlight coming at the Jim Colbert Intercollegiate, where he finished seventh after shooting 79-67-75--221...His second round 67 was a career-best and included an eagle and six birdies...He finished 37th at the Missouri Intercollegiate, 53rd at Kansas, and 78th at UT-Arlington.

2006-07: Carrera played in every event for the Bears and finished with a 74.8 scoring average, good for second on the team....In the classroom, he received honorable mention to the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team for the second straight year...He recorded his career-best finish at the season-opening Missouri Intercollegiate, finishing third with a 69-75-74--218....He paced the Bears at Stephen F. Austin by carding 77-72--149 to finish in a tie for 23rd....Carrera ended his fall campaign shooting 69-82-73--224 in the Oral Roberts Shootout...His best spring finish came at the Diablo Grande Intercollegiate when he recorded 74-72-77--223, good for a top-10 finish...He had a pair of top 10's and three top 25 finishes on the year...He tied for 35th at the Valley meet, shooting 77-76-80--233.

2005-06:The Spaniard cameinto his sophomore year much improved and qualified for the Missouri Intercollegiate, shooting 81-79-80--240...He fought his way back into the lineup for the Fred Marx/Louisiana-Monroe Invitational, where he fired 75-78-70--223 to tie for 22nd place...Carrera enjoyed abreakout semester in the spring, playing in all six events...His best finish came at the Sam Houston State Bearkat Classic, where he was tied for second after an opening 70 before finishing in a tie for 21st, recording 70-73-80--223...His final round 79 helped the Bears break a scorecard playoff to win the SFA Crown Classic over spring break...He finished 24th at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship with rounds of 77-77-78--232...He ranked fifth on the team in scoring average at 76.7...Damaso received honorable mention to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team.

2004-05:Carrera the saw first action of his collegiate career at the tough Baylor Invitational, where he posted his best round of the fall in the first round for 75-81-80--236 and a tie for 47th...He also competed at the Missouri State Fall Invitational, shooting 80-83-82--245...Carrera played in the UALR/First Tee Intercollegiate in the spring, shooting 77-76-79--232...He averaged 80.1 for the season in 12 rounds.

2003-04: Redshirted.
