Menke Named Valley Football Offensive Lineman of the Week

ST. LOUIS -- Missouri State center Harrison Menke (Jr., Joplin, Mo.) has been named Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league announced Monday (Nov. 21).
The Joplin tornado surivor started all 11 games this season for MSU and played all 683 offensive plays. He joins quarterback Trevor Wooden (So., High Springs, Fla.), the MVFC Offensive Player of the Week, on this week's list of conference honorees, along with Northern Iowa's L.J. Fort (Defensive Player of the Week), Tyler Sievertsen of UNI (Special Teams Player of the Week) and Jewel Hampton of Southern Illinois (Newcomer of the Week).
