Missouri State to Host Football Signing Day & Basketball Watch Party
SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State's JQH Arena will be the place to be on Wednesday, Feb. 3.
To mark the beginning of the spring National Letter of Intent signing period for football, the PRIME Overtime Club will be the site for Bears' Signing Day Party. The free public event will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by a review of the Signing Day commitments by head coach Terry Allen at 6 p.m.
Following the football event, fans can stick around for a watch party featuring the Missouri State men's basketball game at Southern Illinois at 7:05 p.m. All big-screen TVs at JQH Arena will feature Cuonzo Martin's Bears taking on the Salukis live from Carbondale, Ill.
Ovations food service will have a number of food and drink specials available, beginning at 5 p.m., and the BearWear Team Store at JQH Arena will also be open throughout both events. Those attending should park in the metered lot just south of JQH Arena (Lot 26).
"Wednesday is such a big day, and we wanted our fans to have an opportunity to hear about our football signees and enjoy Bears basketball at a unique social event," said MSU Director of Athletics Kyle Moats. "We hope everyone can come out to JQH Arena, socialize with other Bears fans and have a great time."
