Bears fans will finally get a look at the speedy Ryan Heaston this fall as he heads into fall camp listed behind Vernon Scott on the depth chart at running back ... Carried 25 times for 155 in three spring scrimmages (6.2 yards per carry), including a 30-yard carry in the Maroon and White Game (4/21/12).

2011: Redshirted his first year at Missouri State ... Earned MSU Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for the Indiana State game (11/12/11).

High School: The Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year for the state of Tennessee, Heaston earned the city of Memphis' Bramlett Award by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ... In 2010, he rushed 146 times for 1,278 yards with 15 touchdowns with 11 catches for 237 yards and a touchdown ... He also returned 8 kickoffs for 261 yards, and 6 punts for 215 yards and a touchdown as a senior ... He was a team captain and a member of the Tennessee East-West All-Star team ...
