Background: Roach was voted an all-conference offensive tackle and an all-metro honorable mention choice his senior year. He helped lead the Panthers to a 9-0 regular season record, a Southwestern Conference championship, and an appearance in the Illinois state quarterfinals.

Personal: William Jamaal Roach was born 12/28/86 in Tampa, Fla., the son of Denice Roach. He is majoring in entertainment management.
