At MSU: After redshirting in his first year at MSU and then seeing limited action last season, Andrew Jones hopes to break into the rotation at linebacker in 2007.

Background: Andrew Jones accumulated 347 tackles in his prep career, including a district-best 125 as a senior. He was ranked among the Super 30 Recruits by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch while Mosports.com rated him as one of the 10 best linebackers in the state. Jones earned first team all-conference and all-district, and second team all-state honors.
