At MSU: Buddy Hyde redshirted last season and will get a chance to earn playing time in the receiving corps in 2007.

Background: Hyde was a first team all-state defensive back as a senior at Mountain Grove and a second team all-district wide receiver. He made 84 tackles last season and collected eight interceptions, while also making 25 catches for 542 yards and 10 touchdowns on offense.

Personal: Ronald Hyde was born 5/30/87 in Mountain Grove, Mo., the son of Ron and Terri Hyde. His major at MSU is communications.
