Hays will compete with Colby Wickwar for regular long snapping duties this fall ... Also has the size and athleticism to play some special teams.

2012: Saw action in 4 games as a sophomore, including time at No. 23 Louisville (9/8/12) and against eventual FCS national champion North Dakota State (11/3/12) ... Earned MSU Athletic Director's Honor Roll status for fall 2012 and spring 2013 semesters.

2011: Did not play in any games, but was part of the MSU practice squad and spent a good portion of the fall shadowing standout long snapper Kaleb Mueller ... Landed a spot on the MSU Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both the fall 2011 and spring 2012 semesters ... Named to MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and MVFC Honor Roll.
