2012: Earned All-MVFC honorable mention honors after bringing down 49 ball carriers as a junior, tops among MSU defensive linemen ... Started 8 of 11 games at right end ... Earned CFPA National Defensive Lineman of the Week honorable mention honors after registering 3.0 sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and 5 total stops in come-from-behind home win over South Dakota (10/13/12) ... Earned MSU Defensive Player of the Week honors for the South Dakota game and the home opener against Murray State (9/15/12) after registering 7 tackles and 4 solo stops against the Racers ... Notched season-high 9 tackles, including 8 solos, at No. 25 South Dakota State (9/29/12) with a pass break-up ... Second on the team in tackles for loss (8.0) and sacks (5.0) ... 2009: Redshirted his first season at Missouri State ... Named the MSU Defensive Scout Team Co-Player of the Year ... Earned MSU Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week honors for home win over UT Martin (9/12/09) and for Illinois State (10/31/09) game.
High School: Helped Arkansas High in Texarkana, Ark., to back-to-back Class 6A state championships in 2006 and 2007 as a two-year starter and letterman for Coach Bill Keopple ... In 2008, the Razorbacks were 5-7, but made the state playoffs behind a solid defensive effort ... Recorded 58 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, 9 sacks and broke up 14 passes his senior season ...
