At MSU: Darren Dula will be working for a bigger role in the Bears' secondary this season after recording four tackles, mostly on special teams, last season.

Background: Dula came to MSU after one season at Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College. At West Caldwell High, he helped lead his team to a 9-2 record and Mountain Valley Conference title his senior year. A three-year starter, Dula played quarterback and free safety.

Personal: He was born January 29, 1985, to Rocky and Celetha Dula. He is majoring in criminology.
