2011: Played all 11 games in his first season at Missouri State, collecting starts in the final two games of the year ... Named CFPA National LB of the Week honorable mention and MSU Media Player of the Week for his efforts against Indiana State (11/12/11) which included 10 tackles, 1.5 for loss, a sack, a fumble recovery and a pass break-up ... Registered 8 tackles in the season finale at Youngstown State with 7 solo tackles and a pair of QB hurries ... Collected 15 total stops in his first three games, including 6 at Oregon (3/17/11) with 4 solo tackles ... Had 5 solo tackles and a fumble recovery in win at Western Illinois (10/22/11) ... Also logged 5 tackles at Eastern Kentucky (9/10/11) with one for loss.

Garden City CC: Was an honorable mention all-conference linebacker as a sophomore at Garden City (Kan.) Community College ... In 2010, he had 85 tackles for the 3-6 Broncbusters and head Coach Lucas Aslin and was second in the conference in tackles for loss in 2010.

High School: Was an all-state running back at Liberal (Kan.) High where he earned Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors for the Redskins of Coach Tom Schroeder as a senior in 2008 ... Started 3 seasons at running back and also saw time at defensive end, as well as running back ... Was also a four-year letterman in both wrestling and track.
