After a breakthrough freshman campaign in 2011, Crutcher looks to return to his starting spot at free safety this fall and add to his impressive list of accolades.

2011: Started all 11 games at free safety ... Collected 83 total stops, just one shy of the team lead and led the Bears in solo tackles with 45 ... Named to MVFC All-Newcomer Team ... Finished 14th in the Jerry Rice Award (FCS National Freshman of the Year) national voting ... Registered 10 tackles in his collegiate debut at Arkansas (9/3/11) to earn MSU Media Player of Week laurels ... Turned in season-high 13 tackles against eventual Division I champion North Dakota State (10/15/11), with 7 solo stops ... Had an interception and broke up two more passes in win at Western Illinois (10/22/11) ... Turned in 9 tackles in back-to-back home games against Northern Iowa (10/1/11) and Illinois State (10/8/11) ... Had at least seven tackles in eight games.
