A veteran QB, Lambert, enters his fourth year in the program ready to compete for valuable snaps ... Was 12-for-20 for 120 yards in Maroon and White Spring Game (4/11/15).

2014: Saw action in the first 4 games of the season as the team's No. 2 signal caller, including his first career completion at Oklahoma State (9/6/14) ... Had a pair of carries in the home win over North Dakota (9/13/14) ... Combined for 267 passing yards in three spring scrimmages as the No. 2 signal caller ... Was 9-for-14 for 172 yards in the club's second scrimmage (4/12/14) with a 94-yard TD pass ... Earned MSU Athletic Director's Honor Roll laurels for spring 2015 semester.

2013: As a redshirt freshman, Lambert saw his first game action as a Bear in home win over Indiana State (11/2/13) in which he was in on the final offensive series, but did not officially attempt a pass ... Earned MSU Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for game at Murray State (9/14/13) ... Was 4-for-6 for 52 yards in spring 2013 Maroon and White Game (4/20/13) ... High School: Helped the James Martin High Warriors in Arlington, Texas, to the Texas Division I Class 5A quarterfinals and a 12-2 record as a senior ... Lost to eventual state champion Carroll in the 2011 quarterfinals ... Earned all-district first-team honors in 2011 for Coach Bob Wager's squad and was invited to the TCU Elite 11 QB Camp ... Was 16-for-21 for 299 yards and a pair of TDs in the 2011 season opener vs. Plano West ... Threw for 3 TDs against Flower Mound in week 3 ...
