Enters the fall second on the depth chart behind Kierra Harris ... Combined for 267 passing yards in three spring scrimmages as the No. 2 signal caller ... Was 9-for-14 for 172 yards in the club's second scrimmage (4/12/14) with a 94-yard TD pass.

2013: As a redshirt freshman, Lambert saw his first game action as a Bear in home win over Indiana State (11/2/13) in which he was in on the final offensive series, but did not officially attempt a pass ... Earned MSU Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for game at Murray State (9/14/13) ... Was 4-for-6 for 52 yards in spring 2013 Maroon and White Game (4/20/13) ... For the spring series, he completed 8-of-19 passes for 80 yards.
