More than 200 student-athletes achieve a 3.0 GPA or higher during fall 2012 semester
Solid backup defensive back and special teams contributor who played in 9 games as a sophomore ... Brought down 4 ball carriers in Maroon & White Game (4/26/14).
2013: Played in 9 games as a sophomore ... Got into his first career MSU game in season opener against Northwestern State (8/29/13) ... Registered a tackle in home win over Indiana State (11/2/13) ... Saw the field in all 5 home games. ... Named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll for spring 2014 semester ... Had 4 tackles, including a pair of solo tackles, in the Maroon and White Game (4/20/13).
2012: Went through spring drills in 2012 and landed a spot on the MSU scout team ... Did not play in any games in 2012 ... Earned MSU Athletic Director's Honor Roll in Fall 2012
High School: Was a three-sport standout at Warrensburg (Mo.) High where he was a three-year starter at safety and wide receiver for Coach Scott Grinde (2010) and Wiley Meade (2007-09) ... Was part of a 6-4 conference championship run as a senior in which he earned All-West Central Conference honors at WR and DB ... Had 32 receptions for 474 yards and 5 touchdowns in 2010 along with 42 tackles ... Was also part of the KMZU Dream Team and landed a spot in the Lions Club All-Star Game ... Was all-conference as a junior DB after recording 4 interceptions and 49 tackles to go along with 34 receptions for 508 yards and 5 TDs ... Tallied 16 catches for 160 yards as a sophomore with 15 tackles and a pair of picks on the defensive side ... Also played varsity basketball and baseball.
