STILLWATER, Okla. -- No. 22 Oklahoma State has parlayed nine offensive rebounds into 10 second-chance points to boost the home standing Cowboys to a 34-13 halftime lead over visiting Missouri State.

Anthony Downing has 4 points at the break to lead the Bears, while Bruce Marshall has 3 points. Christian Kirk has 6 rebounds for the Bears, who shot just 21.4 percent (6-for-28) in the first half, including 1-for-9 (.111) from long range.

MSU was out-rebounded 28-13 overall with both teams committing eight turnovers.

The Bears took a 2-1 lead out of the gates on a floater by Keith Pickens, but surrendered 10 straight points from there over the four minutes.  A pair of baskets by Downing brought the visitors back within 14-6, and Marshall's three-ball at the 10:41 mark made it a 16-9 contest.  But, Missouri State managed just two field goals the remainder of the half while the nationally-ranked Big 12 squad outscored the Bears 18-4.

Markel Brown has 11 points for OSU, while Le'Bryan Nash has 8. The Cowboys have made a living at the line, turning an 11-6 advantage in the foul count to make 9-of-14 (.643) at the line, compared to MSU's 0-for-2.
