After being called out, Coach Lusk and his staff went through with the cold water challenge. Coaches across the country are raising awareness for the Kay Yow Fund by challenging one another to get soaked by ice cold water. In accordance with the rules, Coach Paul Lusk needed to either get ice water poured over their heads to donate to the charity. Coaches Brad Korn, Derrick Tilmon, and Jermaine Henderson also participated Monday morning.
The #Chillin4Charity challenge is a fundraiser for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, named after the long-time North Carolina State women's basketball coach, as well as for The V Foundation, named for the NCAA Championship winning North Carolina State men's basketball coach Jim Valvano. Coaches and student-athletes across the nation are challenging each other to participate or make a donation to the fund.
