Jehle is a solid rebounder and physical defender who has greatly improved his shooting and scoring abilities over the past three seasons.


 The Bears were 5-4 in games in which Jehle started, as he led the team in rebounding three times and scored in double-figures three times ... Played in 27 games overall and was fifth on the club in points scored (199) ... Averaged 9.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per 40 minutes and finished fifth on the squad in total rebounds (93) ... Scored season and career-high 11 points against Northern Iowa (1/25/09) on a 4-for-4 day from the field ... Posted 28 points over a three-game span (12/6-12/13/08), including 10-point outbursts in wins over Arkansas State (12/6/08) and Central Arkansas (12/13/08) ...  Had a highly-acclaimed prep career at Shawnee-Mission South High in Overland Park, Kan. ... The Raiders got off to a slow start in Jehle's senior season under new head coach, Pat Cormack, but rebounded to tie for second place in the Sunflower League ... He averaged 19.0 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.1 steals per game while shooting .498 from the field as a senior in 2005-06, earning Class 6A first-team all-state honors as well as Sunflower Player of the Year and academic all-state laurels ... His final career total of 1,334 points (15.5 ppg) set a Shawnee-Mission South career scoring mark ... A four-year varsity starter, his team was a combined 33-32 his first three years at SMS, under coach Mickey Masterson ... He grabbed 227 rebounds as a junior in 2004-05, second on the school's single-season list, while claiming first-team all-state distinction ... Averaged 18.9 points and 10.7 rebounds, while shooting .548 from the field as a junior ...
