One of four seniors on the squad this season, Jarmar Gulley returns to the Bears' lineup after missing the entire 2012-13 campaign with an injury. The Bears will welcome his scoring threat that saw him avearge double figures (10.4) in his first season at MSU as well as the 5.8 rebounds a game he produced as a junior.

Earned a medical redshirt after sitting out the 2012-13 season while recovering from surgery (8/15/12) to repair a torn (right) ACL. Gulley's injury was sustained in a summer league game on 7/11/12.

Finished second on the club in rebounding (5.8), first in steals (34) and fourth in scoring (10.4) ... A two-time MVC Newcomer of the Week, Gulley ranked 10th in the MVC in FG percentage (.498) and 11th in rebounding (5.8) ... In league games only, he was 7th in the MVC in steals (1.2), 9th in rebounding (5.9) and 9th in offensive boards (2.1) ... Shared team-high assist honors in MVC Tournament quarterfinals against Evansville (3/2/12) with 3 ... Named MVC Newcomer of the Week (2/27/12) after he averaged 16.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals, was 4-for-5 (.800) from three-point range, and 13-for-21 (.619) from the field in the final two games of the regular season ...  Signed National Letter of Intent to attend Missouri State on April 15, 2011 ... Gulley was a two-time NJCAA Division II All-American at Highland (Kan.) Community College and scored a school-record 1,400 points in his two seasons for coach Jerre Cole ... Was ranked No. 47 on the JucoJunction.com recruiting list for the class of 2011 ... He earned first-team All-America honors in 2010-11 after helping Coach Scotties to a 22-14 record and Region VI title ... He averaged 23.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season and earned first-team all-Region VI and KJCCC All-Conference honors for the second straight season ... He also collected 2.3 assists, 2.2 steals and made 77 percent of his free throw attempts as a sophomore while being named to the NJCAA Division II All-Tournament Team ... The Scotties beat Clarendon College of Texas for the District title and advanced to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament for the first time in program history, winning a game before exiting the double elimination format in their first NJCAA natioanl appearance ... He was a third-team All-American selection in 2009-10 after leading Highland with 18.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for a 14-17 club.

 As a prep senior at Beaumont (Texas) Central Medical Magnet, he won the James Gamble "Mr. Inside" Award as a senior for coach Calvin Rice ... He averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots a game in 2008-09 ... He was also the co-MVP of Texas District 20 in Class 4A ... Also earned all-conference honors as a junior and was a three-year starter for the Jaguars .. Was also a standout hurdler.
