Gulley is expected to miss the entire 2012-13 season after tearing the ACL in his right knee on July 11 during a summer-league game ... He is expected to make a full recovery from his Aug. 15 surgery and return for his senior season in 2013-14.

Community College and scored a school-record 1,400 points in his two seasons for coach Jerre Cole ... Was ranked No. 47 on the JucoJunction.com recruiting list for the class of 2011 ... He earned first-team All-America honors in 2010-11 after helping Coach Scotties to a 22-14 record and Region VI title ... He averaged 23.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season and earned first-team all-Region VI and KJCCC All-Conference honors for the second straight season ... He also collected 2.3 assists, 2.2 steals and made 77 percent of his free throw attempts as a sophomore while being named to the NJCAA Division II All-Tournament Team ... The Scotties beat Clarendon College of Texas for the District title and advanced to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament for the first time in program history, winning a game before exiting the double elimination format in their first NJCAA natioanl appearance ...  As a prep senior at Beaumont (Texas) Central Medical Magnet, he won the James Gamble "Mr. Inside" Award as a senior for coach Calvin Rice ... He averaged 18 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocked shots a game in 2008-09 ... He was also the co-MVP of Texas District 20 in Class 4A ... Also earned all-conference honors as a junior and was a three-year starter for the Jaguars .. Was also a standout hurdler.
