 Justin Fuehrmeyer moves into his fifth year in the Missouri State program and his fourth season in the Bears' playing rotation as the Missouri Valley Conference's active leader in career assists (231) and the Bears' returning starter at point guard ... He has led the Bears in assists the past two seasons and started 49 games during that span.


 Started the final 20 games of the season after missing the first five games of the season with an ankle sprain and coming off the bench the next six games ... Finished second in the MVC in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1:1), 11th in assists (2.8), and 15th in steals (1.1) ... Hit for a season-best 12 points off the bench in just 22 minutes against Central Arkansas (12/13/08) with three three-pointers ... Played all 45 minutes in overtime loss at Evansville (1/7/09) while scoring 11 points ... Collected 25 assists over a four-game span (1/14-1/25/09), including season-high nine in home win over Drake (1/21/09) ...  Was a three-year starter and letterman for St. Charles Francis Howell Central in both basketball and soccer ... On the hardwood, Fuehrmeyer helped his team to a district title and the state quarterfinals as a senior, averaging 16.6 points and 6.3 assists a game for the Spartans of coach Larry Anders ... Won all Gateway Athletic Conference South, first-team all-metro and first-team all-state selection ... Set school records for career free throws (232) and assists (421) in addition to breaking the season assists record as a junior with 189 ... Averaged 13.3 points, 7.6 assists and 2.8 steals a game as a junior, while shooting 83 percent from the foul line and leading the metro area in assists ...
