SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - After rallying from an early two-run deficit, Missouri State's White squad exploded for 10 runs over a three-inning span to ultimately even the Bears' Fall World Series at a game apiece with a 13-4 victory in Game 2 Friday at Hammons Field.

Tyler Harris singled and drove in a pair of runs to snap a 3-3 tie in the fifth as part of a four-run frame for the White team. Conner Wilson added a two-run double in the inning to hand his club a 7-3 advantage.

Harris would strike another big blow in the seventh, plating two more runs with a home run. A walk and a Wilson single set up run-producing hits by Alex Jefferson and Blake Graham, as well as an Aaron Meyer sacrifice fly. In all, the White club would score six times in the inning to account for the final nine-run margin.

Trailing 3-1 in the fourth inning, the White club pulled even with a two-run rally, keyed by a Graham sac fly and a two-out, RBI double by Meyer.

Harris scored twice and drove in four runs with a 2-for-5 day at the plate, while Wilson tallied three hits in three at-bats, and Graham finished with three RBIs and a run scored for the victorious White team. Meyer also turned in a big day, going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs, with Jefferson and Matt Dezort also registering two-hit games.

Sam Perez picked up the win in relief after allowing one run over three innings.

Joey Hawkins (2-for-4) homered, doubled and scored two times to pace the Maroon club. Tate Matheny also produced a pair of hits, scoring two runs and swiping two bases, while Cory Kay went 2-for-4

The Fall World Series continues Thursday (Oct. 3) with Game 3 slated for a 3 p.m. first pitch.
