Bears Finalize 2013 Fall Baseball Camp Slate

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Missouri State University head coach Keith Guttin announced the Bears' 2013 Fall Baseball Camp schedule Tuesday (Aug. 6), and the MSU coaching staff is now accepting applications for three different two-day clinics to be held at Hammons Field. MSU's Pitching/Catching Camp is open to grades 7-12 and will be held Oct. 12-13, while the Bears will host a pair of Skills and Showcase Camps, Sept. 28-29 and Oct. 5-6, for players in grades 10-12.
Over the course of the two-day Skills and Showcase Camp, participants will receive instruction in all phases of the game and individual evaluations while having the opportunity to compete in a total of three games. The Pitching/Catching Camp focuses on the fundamentals of pitching and catching, led by Bears' pitching coach Paul Evans, as well as several area high school coaches and current and former Missouri State professional players.
