SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Due to anticipated winter weather conditions, Missouri State's non-conference game with Kansas, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (March 26) at Hammons Field, has been canceled.

Tuesday's cancellation marks the second time this season the Bears and Jayhawks have been forced to delay the resumption of their rivalry. The two clubs were also slated to meet Feb. 26 in Lawrence before inclement weather necessitated the postponement of that contest as well. No makeup date for either game has been scheduled.

The Bears (14-6) will now hope to kick off a four-game home stand Wednesday (March 27), when they welcome the Southeast Missouri State University Redhawks to Hammons Field for a 3 p.m. match-up. MSU will kick off Missouri Valley Conference play at home against Friday (March 29) with a three-game set against defending regular-season MVC champ Indiana State.

Tickets for all 2013 Bears home games may be obtained in person at the Chevy Pickup Window at JQH Arena, or by calling (417) 836-7678 or (417) 836-3302.
