2012: Voit was named Second-Team All-Missouri Valley Conference for the second straight season after hitting .298 with six homers, a team-high 46 RBIs and a career-best nine stolen bases...Named to Johnny Bench Award watch list (March 7)...Ranked among the MVC's leaders in at-bats (1st), plate appearances (3rd), putouts (3rd), sacrifice flies (4th), baserunners caught stealing (3rd), total bases (8th), RBIs (6th) and hits (6th)...Ranked 57th nationally in sac flies...Had five GWRBI on the year and 16 for his MSU career to rank ninth all-time...Started all 62 games, including 53 as the Bears' catcher...Drove in runs in each of MSU's first seven games and in nine of its first 10 overall...Had a team-high 11 multi-RBI games and 20 multi-hit outings; will enter 2013 season as MSU's active career leader in both categories...Homered in two of the Bears' first three games of the season, including a two-run shot in the season opener vs. Tennessee Tech (Feb. 17)...Launched another two-run homer against Tennessee Tech the next afternoon to help MSU notch its first win of the season...Went 5-for-10 with four RBIs and three runs scored over a two-game stretch, Feb. 24-25, to help MSU knock off Stephen F. 2010: Finished second on the team with 29 RBIs despite missing 21 games in April and May due to a thumb injury...Hit .272 and slugged .482 in 31 games...Started 14 games at catcher, 13 at first base and three at DH...MVC Player of the Week March 29 after hitting .550 with 13 RBIs in five games...Had an RBI in eight straight games from March 23-April 3, totaling 17 in that span...Hit .326 with runner in scoring position...Went 4-for-5 with four runs and five RBIs against Central Arkansas (March 23), all single-game highs for MSU in 2010...Led team with eight multi-RBI games...Had four RBIs at SEMO (March 10) and three against Evansville (March 27).

Background: Voit was a four-year starter for the Lafayette Lancers, spending three years at the corner infield positions before moving to catcher as a senior...Hit .486 as a senior, belting six homers and 17 extra-base hits with a .892 slugging percentage on the way to first-team all-state honors...Drove in 28 runs, scored 36 and had a .582 on-base percentage in 91 plate appearances as the Lancers went 22-4 overall and 9-1 in the Suburban West Conference...Selected in the 32nd round of the 2009 draft by Kansas City.
