2009: Ryun became MSU's starting first baseman in early March and started 41 games at the position, hitting .268 on the season with eight homers and 28 RBIs ... Also made one appearance on the mound, pitching an inning at Sam Houston State (2/28) ... Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in his first start of the year against North Dakota (3/8) ... Homered and had three RBIs at 23rd-ranked Oregon State (3/13) ... Hit a grand slam against SEMO (3/17), and homered the next day against the Redhawks as well ...
