Spent the summer hitting .422 with three homers and 21 RBIs for the Kansas City MSBL Royals of the Ban Johnson League, earning an all-star selection for the league champions.
2005: Playter appeared in six games for the Bears and had one at bat against Southeast Missouri State (5/17).
