2012: Drake appeared in 43 games for the Bears as a sophomore, including 18 starts in the MSU outfield...Batted .333 (8-for-24) and slugged .500 in MVC play...Hit by pitch four times to rank third on the club...Doubled for the first time in 2012 to drive home the game-winning RBI in a 10-4 victory over Illinois State (April 14); also stole a base and scored to help MSU wrap up its two-game sweep of the Redbirds...Recorded his second outfield assist of the season April 22 at Wichita State...Went 3-for-3 with a walk during the Bears' three-game series with SIU, April 27-29...Went 2-for-3 and hit the go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth inning of the Bears' 7-5 win at Indiana State on May 18...Collected hits in three of his six at-bats in MSU's three-game series with Indiana State (May 17-19).

2011: Drake played in 27 games with eight starts (six in left field and two at DH) as a freshman...Posted first career hit was a two-run homer against North Dakota (March 6)...Hit .290 and scored nine runs in 31 at-bats...Went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored against Wichita State (April 8)...Went 2-for-4 in the previous game at Kansas (April 5) in his first career start in left field...Was successful in his lone stolen base attempt of the year, May 3 against Missouri...Batted a team-best .349 for the Joplin Outlaws in the summer, driving in 11 runs, scoring 14 and stealing five bases in 30 games.
