2015:
Fultz started 42 games as a junior, guiding the Bears to a 35-4 mark in 39 starts behind the plate…Batted .269 with three homers and 15 RBIs while logging a .992 fielding percentage…Named to the NCAA Springfield Regional All-Tournament team after hitting .400 and reaching base safely in six of his 11 plate appearances to help the Bears win all three of their games to earn their second Super Regional berth as a Division I program…Matched a career high with three RBIs in MSU’s opening-round win over Canisius…Plated the go-ahead run in the Bears’ 5-0 win at Southern Illinois (May 9) as part of a 3-for-4 day at the plate…Recorded a career-high four hits to help MSU complete a three-game sweep at Jacksonville (March 29)…Homered for the first time in 2015 and drove in three runs vs. Kansas (March 24) in a 15-9 victory…Had three hits and scored a personal-best three runs April 10 at Evansville…Turned in three-straight multi-hit games April 19-24, including a 2-for-4 night at Missouri in which he homered and doubled in a 9-8 victory…Registered 11 multi-hit games.

Served as the Bears' primary backstop in his first season at MSU, posting 12 multi-hit games in 43 starts...Hit .252 with three home runs and 26 RBIs...Plated the game-winning run a team-best five times and recorded six multi-RBI performances...Started his Bears career with a bang, going 7-for-14 with six runs scored and seven runs batted-in over his first three games (Feb. 14-21); went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a steal in the Bears' season-opening win at UCA (Feb. 14), then logged two more hits and drove home three runs with a pair of doubles the following day in a 6-4 victory...Went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBIs again in a 9-8 decision against Northern Illinois (Feb. 21) at the Lobo Invitational...Homered for the first time as a Bear Feb. 28 against Abilene Christian, finishing the 12-0 victory 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs...Singled and drove in a run against ACU a week later to kick off a four-game hit streak...Hit his second long ball of the season against Utah (March 9), going 2-for-4 in the first of two straight two-hit games...Went 2-for-5 and scored two of the Bears' four runs in a win at Wichita State (March 23) that snapped a nine-game skid...Clubbed a solo home run and drove in a second run as part of MSU's 6-5 win over Arkansas State (March 26)...Notched a seven-game hit streak April 2-18, hitting .355 (11-for-31) with six RBIs...Turned in a pair of two-hit games to help the Bears claim an MVC series win at Bradley (April 11-12); delivered the go-ahead single to cap a ninth-inning comeback against the Braves in the series opener, then went 2-for-5 with another RBI in the rubber match--a 7-2 MSU win...Followed that effort with a 3-for-5 night to spearhead MSU's nine-run outburst in a win over in-state rival Missouri (April 15)...Drove in two runs in a 6-5 win at Kansas (April 23), then gashed the Jayhawks for two more hits in four at-bats in MSU's 5-3 victory in Springfield (May 7)...Went 2-for-4 with the go-ahead sacrifice fly to help the Bears defeat MVC champ Evansville (May 17) in the regular-season finale...Recorded hits in four of his final five games of the season, May 7-22.


Background: A prep teammate of former Bear Matt Hall at Lee's Summit West High School, Fultz joined the MSU program after a solid freshman campaign at Seminole (Okla.) State College...Batted .273 with six home runs and 39 runs batted-in for a 38-win Trojans squad this past spring...Selected by the Cleveland Indians in the 34th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft after clubbing 24 homers over his final two high school seasons at West...Earned a Rawlings Central Region All-America nod and a pair of first-team all-state citations for the Titans.
