More than 200 Missouri State student-athletes earn academic distinction

Background: Locascio joins the Bears as a senior transfer after stints at John A. Logan College and the University of Indianapolis...The Lisle, Ill., native batted .310 in 17 games (five starts) with Division II Indianapolis in 2011...Turned in his best stretch as a Greyhound April 10-16, when he went 4-for-9 with three RBIs and a run scored over a three-game hit streak...Posted a team-high .494 on-base percentage to go along with a .328 batting mark as a freshman at John A. Logan in 2009...Took a medical redshirt in 2010...Led Naperville (Ill.) North High School to a 28-12 season as a senior in 2008, hitting .360 with 40 RBIs for the Huskies.
