2012: McMurtrey saw action in three games in his first year as a Bear, posting a 2.70 earned run average...Made his first appearance as a Bear April 4 in a 12-5 win over Arkansas State; gave up one run on two hits over 2.0 innings pitched...Worked a scoreless inning of relief in the Bears' 11-3 win over Air Force (May 5), then tossed a scoreless 1/3 of an inning May 9 at Missouri, a 10-5 loss.
