Background: Cheray joins the Missouri State program from Kansas City's Rockhurst High School, where he helped the Hawklets to a state quarterfinal appearance as a senior last spring...Earned first-team all-state honors from the MSSA and the MHSBCA as a senior...The left-handed hurler went 2-2 with a 2.25 ERA as a junior after lifting Rockhurst to district and conference titles, as well as a third-place Missouri Class 4 state tournament finish, as a sophomore in 2010.
