• Came one shy of the Northwoods League stolen base record over the summer, swiping 44 bags in 47 tries for the Green Bay Bullfrogs

• Played in 28 games with 18 starts as a freshman, hitting .297, scoring 20 runs and driving in seven

• Four-year letterwinner for Darrell Butler at Triad High School, where he hit .431 and stole 27 bases as a senior
• Added 22 RBIs, four homers, five doubles, eight triples and scored 44 runs as a senior in just 32 games
• Also an all-state soccer player, his teams were regional champions in 2004, 2005 and 2006, and won a section championship his junior year
