Missouri State Ranked 11th in CollegeSwimming.com Poll



The Missouri State men's swimming and diving team was recently ranked 11th in the National Mid-Major poll by CollegeSwimming.com. These are the first rankings released this season.

Though the Bears opened the season with losses against Drury and conference rival Southern Illinois, they have rebounded with two consecutive wins against Lindenwood and Truman State.

Missouri State was the highest ranked Mid-American Conference team in the poll, with defending champion Eastern Michigan being the only other ranked MAC school at 23rd.

The Bears are on the road this weekend, taking part in the Purdue Invitational. The meet will last three days, and NCAA Championship scoring will be used. Preliminary heats begin at 10:00 a.m. every day, and the final heats will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, while the finals on Sunday will be at 3:00 p.m.
