Men's Swimming and Diving Receive Votes in CSCAA NCAA Division I Poll

The Missouri State men’s swimming and diving squad received 20 votes toward a top-25 ranking on the College Swim Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) NCAA Division I dual meet poll.  The Bears’ fell one spot from the previous poll release in December, to a 30th-place ranking.

The CSCAA poll is published eight times throughout the swimming and diving season.  The remaining two polls will be released February 12 and 26.  The dual meet champion will be crowned February 26.  Pollsters representing eight conferences along with two at-large voters have the task of ranking the top dual meet teams in the nation throughout the season.

The men finished regular season competition with a dual meet record of 7-1.  The squad will travel to Nashville, Tennessee to compete in the Sun Belt Conference Championship.  The Bears’ men aim to capture the second consecutive conference title.  The meet is scheduled for February 19-21.

The Missouri State women’s swimming and diving squad travels to Carbondale, Ill. to compete in the Missouri Valley Conference Championship.  The squad hopes to retain its second straight conference title as well.  The meet is schedule to begin on Thursday, February 12, prelims starting at 11:00 a.m.  The three-day event will end on Saturday, February 14.
