Men's Swimming Bears No. 24 in CollegeSwimming.com Rankings

SOMERS, Wis. - On the heels of splitting at the Shamrock Invitational Saturday, the Missouri State men's swimming & diving team has reentered the CollegeSwimming.com Endless Pools Top 25 rankings at No. 24, the website announced Wednesday.
The Bears (9-3) defeated Iowa, 213-157 and fell to Notre Dame, 223-147, at Rolfs Aquatic Center in Notre Dame, Ind.
Missouri State earned 913.6 points to finish ahead of Penn State (913) in the rankings.
For the third straight week, Florida is atop the rankings with 966.4 points. California (953), Southern California (951.4), Michigan (945.4) and Missouri (939.6) round out the top five.
The rankings utilize a point system based on NCAA time standards, predicted qualifying times and percentile rankings from the past four seasons.
The Bears have also jumped to No. 3 from No. 14 in the latest CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major Top 25, also released Wednesday.
Harvard and Princeton are the top-two teams in the mid-major rankings with 933.11 and 930.3 points, respectively.
Missouri State returns to action March 6-8 in Buffalo, N.Y., for the MAC Championships.
