Bears Look to Bounce Back Against Lindenwood, Missouri S&T Saturday

Missouri State Bears vs. Lindenwood Lions and Missouri S&T Miners
The Bears, who coming off of hard-fought losses in a dual against crosstown rival Drury Thursday, look to get back on track against a pair of strong Division II programs. Missouri S&T enters the meet with a record of 2-2 with victories over Delta State and Truman State.
The Lindenwood men (1-1) have a dual-meet victory over Truman and have won a pair of six-team invitationals at Delta State and Washington. The women are 0-2 in duals, but defeated both St. Louis and Maryville on Nov. 2 in St. Peters, Mo.
The Bears are a combined 47-10 against Saturday's opposition and have never lost to Lindenwood in the pool in 20 meetings between both the men's and women's teams. The last time the Bears and Lions met, MSU posted 186-107 and 228-63 wins for the men and women, respectively, on Jan. 21, 2012 on the road.
Missouri State last swam Missouri S&T in Rolla, Mo., on Jan. 25 of last year, taking a 119-85 victory.
The Bears will honor their 12 graduating seniors as part of Senior Day festivities during the second diving break of the competition on Saturday.
Participating in their final home meet at MSU are Michal Bulak, Yuri Garanito, Colin Hill and Jared Roberts for the men and Anna Ahlin, Roni Balzam, Lindsey Conway, Janke Engelbrecht, Paige Koebbe, Hannah Molden, Glory Reichard and Renata Sander on the women's side.
