2011-12: Named MVC Swimmer of the Year...Also earned MSU's Female Swimmer of the Year award at the yearly banquet...Made the all-MVC first team for the second consecutive year...One of two MSU female swimmers to garner CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major All-American honorable mention status...Finished 112th in the nation in the 100 breast...Finished 131st in the nation in the 200 breast...Collected two gold medals as a member of the 200 and 400 medley relays at the 2012 MVC Championships...Was one of four athletes under the previous MVC championship record in the 200 IM; finished runner-up to SIU's Hannah Pinion by .17 seconds...Posted a NCAA 'B' cut in the 100 breast en route to a gold medal in the event at the MVC Championships; won the event by a margin of 1.58 seconds...Ran away with the title in the 200 breast; collected her second NCAA 'B' cut; broke the pool and MVC record in the event (2:15.31)...During the dual-meet season, Sander won the 200 breast on four different occasions: vs. SIU, at Truman State, at Lindenwood and vs. Evansville...Won the 100 breast twice vs. Truman State and at Lindenwood...Also placed first in the 200 IM vs. William Jewell and 50 free against Truman State...Doubled up on individual victories at the UIW Christmas Invitational with wins in the 100 and 200 breast...Took home the 150 breast title and was runner-up in the 75 breast at the Show-Me Showdown.
2010-11: Was one of 11 MSU swimmers named to the all-MVC first team...Had an impressive debut season, rewriting the school record books in the 100 and 200 breast...As a freshman, she collected three silver medals at the 2011 MVC Championships in the 200 IM, 100 breast and 200 breast...Was also an integral part of the Bears' relays, swimming the breaststroke leg on the first-place 200 and 400 medley relays...The 200 medley relay set a new MVC, championship and pool record in the event.
